A wife, Orpha Meeks is listed as a non-Indian.  The rolls state that there were no children of this marriage

In a conversation with Lester Ira May on May 19, 2000, Lester stated that he knew Frank and that Frank was the best bronc rider that he had ever known.  Everywhere that Frank competed, he won.

                   Listed in the Shoshone Tribal Registration Office, Ft. Washaki, Wyoming with birth date of 2/18/1904.  Her son James Richard May has her birth date listed as 2/19/1904.  He said that she was buried in Riverton, Wyoming.  Her brother is listed as 1/8 Indian, so she should be 1/8 Indian.

Clarinda's son, Richard James May is listed on his birth record in the tribal office with the name of May and there is no father listed.  He told Vern T. May on 18 May 2000 that his father was JayMeeks, but that Meeks had run off before he was born.
