NOTES: 1. Her husband Luke was a medical doctor in Covington. 2. They traveled all over the world.
NOTES: 1. Lived the last years of her life with her daughter, Gladys Mae Fullilove Downs in Monroe, Georgia. 2. Joined the United Daughters of the Confederacy on 27 Jan 1920.
NOTES: 1. Mary Lou never married. 2. She took care of her mother, Lucy Ann, in Lucy Ann's later years. BIRTH: Birth date also listed as 13 Nov 1873.
NOTES: 1. Killed by a bad woman from the office in Athens, Georgia. 2. Buried in the Oconee Cemetery behind the stadium in Athens. 3. His wife, Mamie Dobbs, had died some years before, and a woman from the office of the hardware store (still called Armstrong and Dobbs in 2003) took offense for some reason and shot him. Mamie Fullilove says the officials checked closely and could find no evidence of an affair.
