    1. Listed as Rosser LEWIS on Marriage Certificate.
    2. Roser's mother Sarah Edmonds left some property to her son. When Rosser went to court to claim this property he found his name was Rosser L. Thomas instead of Rosser Lewis. He went to his fahter and asked for the explanation. Lewis told his son that at the coal mine where he worked there were so many men with the name Thomas that they were continually getting their pay envelopes mixed up so he dicided that he would change his name to Lewis Lewis.
