    1. Johannes wrote many psalms and hymns for the church.
    2. Johannes was an artist. One of his paintings "Christ before Pilate" was originally in the upper room of the St. George Temple, but is now in a Murray, Utah ward house.
    3. Crossed the Atlantic on the sailing ship "Jessie Moon".
    4. Arrived in Salt Lake City on 6 October 1854.
