CENSUS:
    There is a Levi T. Gay listed on the 1860 Randolph County, Georgia, Census with Littleberry Gay.  On this Census, Littleberry is listed as being 48 years old and Levi as 24 years.  The presumable wife of Littleberry, Nancy, is listed as being 38 years old on this same Census.  If Nancy were the mother of Levi, she would have been 13-14 years old at the time of the conception of Levi.  I am not sure if they are really the parents of Levi?

    Aaron Elonnie Gay was buried at the Rose Lawn Cemetery in Denton, Texas.

    Book 976.4276 v2v, "Van Zandt County, Texas Marriage Records 1848-1909," shows
    5 Oct 1897 to be the marriage date of A.E. Gay to Bettie Neal.  I have kept the
    7 Oct 1897 because I believe the 5 Oct 1897, may be the day the liscense was
    obtained and the 7 Oct 1897, may be the actual marriage date.  I believe the
    Neal in this book should have been spelled Neel.

    DEATH  -BURIAL:
    According to a newspaper article from Kermit, Texas, A. E. Gay died and had
    his funeral services in Kermit, Texas, and then was taken to Denton, Texas, for
    burial.
