                   Born with the first name "Heinrich". The following was received from Marjorie Fisher in May 1993, on hand-written double letter size paper, after narrative pertaining to Howards, Herchelradts Heydrichs, Stevens, Roberts, Garners, and Winklers: "All the rest of our ancestors from England Came through Castle Garden New York Harbor and moved west to Ogden and Salt Lake City and Davis Co., 1850-1873. The Cooks came to the West Indies to New Orleans and up the Mississippi to St. Louis where they worked the mines for money and supplies before starting west for Salt Lake City in 1850."

The following was received in May 1993 from Marjorie Fisher, hand-written on legal size paper:  "Philip Garner's Purchases of Land (1) 1783 - 30 acres on both sides of Abbots Creek, adjacent to his father's 200     acres (Philip, Jr. married Barbara Byerly, inherited this) (2) 1789 - 300 acres on both sides of Lick Creek (David inherits this, Philip's     land and plantation) (3) 1793 - 585 acres on both sides of Lick Creek, adjacent to his 300 acres     (Philip built a sawmill and sold lumber.  Henry inherited.) (4) 1793 - 150 acres on Lick Creek (Barbara Garner married Henry Beeker,     inherited) (5) 1798, Sept - Philip buys more land on Lick Creek (Elizabeth and Christina) (6) 1801 - 300 acres on Lick Creek (Mary) (7) 1803 - He bought 1/4 lot in Lexington Town (Ann Garner Snyder inherited) (8) 1810, 25 January - Philip bought 2-1/2 acres from William Lanier.  He     married Elizabeth Christene Garner (He deeded 100 acres of this to David) In 1811, Elizabeth, his wife, died, because Philip made his will in 1812 and no mention is made of her, or conditions for her welfare.  Philip realized his mortality and in his will , he deeded the lands to his children, which he had placed them upon at their marriages. He then, gave 3 of his grandchildren land in 1813, and died in May 1814, when the will was probated or proved.  In Rowan Co., N.C., both parents are buried without markers on the GArner plantation cemetery lot near Denton and Snider, N.C. in Davidson Co."
