Henry inherited.) (4) 1793 - 150 acres on Lick Creek (Barbara Garner married Henry Beeker, inherited) (5) 1798, Sept - Philip buys more land on Lick Creek (Elizabeth and Christina) (6) 1801 - 300 acres on Lick Creek (Mary) (7) 1803 - He bought 1/4 lot in Lexington Town (Ann Garner Snyder inherited) (8) 1810, 25 January - Philip bought 2-1/2 acres from William Lanier. He married Elizabeth Christene Garner (He deeded 100 acres of this to David) In 1811, Elizabeth, his wife, died, because Philip made his will in 1812 and no mention is made of her, or conditions for her welfare. Philip realized his mortality and in his will , he deeded the lands to his children, which he had placed them upon at their marriages. He then, gave 3 of his grandchildren land in 1813, and died in May 1814, when the will was probated or proved. In Rowan Co., N.C., both parents are buried without markers on the GArner plantation cemetery lot near Denton and Snider, N.C. in Davidson Co."

See sources regarding Phillip Garner born 1740. Family Group Sheet of Phillip Garner and Elizabeth Winkler (#173) shows her birth date approximated as about 1744. The Sheet of Lewis Winkler, showing Elizabeth Winkler as a child approximates her birth date as about 1758. The last date cannot be because it would make her 4 years old when her first child was born. At present I would choose the first date.
