Mrs. Almer Hongslo, Henry Johnson, Mr. and Mrs. Adolph Rosemore and Marie Rosemore went to Sioux City Saturday to see Mrs. Fred Rosemore who is ill in a hospital there but because of her condition they were unable to see her.  She will return to ?.B.Sanitarium in Minnesota on Wednesday.

Funeral services were held last Thursday afternoon at 2:30 at the Peace Lutheran church for Mrs. Fred Rosemore, of Finlayson, Minnesota.  Mrs. Rosemore was a former resident of this community, and passed away at the Walker, Minnesota, Sanatorium on July 25.  Remains were brought to Alcester for burial in Pleasant Hill cemetery, ...
Mary Edna Weed, daughter of G.N. and Carrie Weed, was born in Alcester, September 23, 1903, and died at Walker, Minnesota, at the age of 44 years, 9 months and 28 days.
Most of her life was spent in the vicinity of Alcester.  In 1942 she, along with her husband and family, moved to Askov, Minnesota, and lived there until May of 1945, when she became ill and was moved to the Sanatorium at Walker.
On March 12, 1924 she was united in marriage to Fred H. Rosemore.  To this union were born four sons and three daughters.
She was a member of the Peace Lutheran church, being both baptized and confirmed there.
She is survived by her husband, Fred, of Finlayson, Minn;  three daughters, Frances (Mrs. Gordon Eggen) of Alcester; Dona and Verna, of Finlayson, Minn.; four sons, Wayne, Ralph, James and Gene, also of Finlayson, Minn; Three sisters, Mrs. C.M. Woodcock of Salem, Oregon; Mrs. Clarence Fredericksen, Sioux City, Iowa; Mrs. Ford Messenger, Medina, Ohio; and one brother, George Weed, of Riddle, Oregon.
Out-of-town relatives who attended the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Frederickson and family, of Sioux City, Iowa; Mr. and Mrs. Ford Messenger, of Medina, Ohio; Bill Rosemore of Heaton, N.D.; Mrs. Geo Richlefs, and Mr. and Mrs. Peter Runia of Bettendorf, Iowa; Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Richlefs and son, of Sioux Falls, S.D.; Mr. and Mrs. Maynard Ricklefs, of Sioux Center, Iowa; Mrs. Thomas Muth and family, of Ireton, Iowa; Madaline Muth, Sioux Falls, S.D.; Mrs. H.N.
