I found your Pierson/Porter database on Rootsweb. You have Adam Conkey b. 1793 in NY & Elizabeth Lee b. 1795 in NY with two daughters, Adelia b. 1834 & Amanda b. 1820. I have the same Adam & Elizabeth with two sons, Oscar D.F. b. 1821 and William F. b. 1832. I would love to trade info. How are you related or connected to the Conkey line? William F. A. Conkey, D. Ashley, S. Gowdy, C. and D. Shumway, and J. and O. Moore. W. Martin built the first mills, and in 1807 a paper mill. (See Adam Martin notes for entire article) note: I'm not sure this A. Conkey is Adam.
