Harold Nye of the Caldwell Methodist Church will officiate and burial will be in Wilder Cemetery. Mr. March, a retired farmer, died Saturday in his home near Givens Springs. He had been in ill health the last two years. He was born Oct 2, 1874, in Creighton, Neb., and was reared in Nebraska. He went to South Dakota as a young man. He married Fannie Woodcock in Hot Springs, S.D., Nov. 25, 1895. The couple lived in Hot Springs and Alcester, S.D., moving to Riverside, Calif., in 1934 and coming to Idaho in January 1954. Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Fannie March, Melba; a son, Vernon C. March, Haward, Iowa; six daughters, Mrs. Ethel Kershner, Melba; Mrs. Virllie Pierson, Parkston, S.D.; Mrs. Dorothy Millard, Alcester; Mrs. Margaret Baxter, Riverside, Calif., Mrs. Myra (Wilde, La..., Preston, S.D., and Mrs. Velma Severson, Beresford, S.D.; two brothers, Jason March, San Diego, and Cyrus March, Long Beach, Calif., 21 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren." (probably Idaho Free Press) "Obituary Notice: Mrs. Fannie W. March, 82, of Route 1, Homedale, died Thursday night. Mrs. March was born on July 13, 1876 in Iowa. She moved with her parents in a covered wagon to Hot Springs, S.D., at the age of five. She was married to David March at Hot Springs on Nov. 25, 1895. The couple lived in South Dakota until 1909, when they moved to Greeley, Colo. They moved back to Alcester, S.D., in 1911 and then out to Riverside, Calif., in 1927 and remained there until 1953 when they came to Homedale. Mr. March died in 1955. Mrs. March had been a member of the Royal Neighbors of America for 64 years. She is survived by one son, Vernon March of Hawarden, Iowa; six daughters, Mrs. Virllie Pierson and Mrs. Margarete Baxter, both of Riverside, Calif., Mrs. Dorothy Millard of Alcester, S.D., Mrs. Myra Wilde of Bancroft, S.D. Mrs. Velma Severson of Beresford, S.D., and Mrs. Ethel Kershner of Homedale; 21 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren and five great great grandchildren. Arrangements are pending at the Peckham-Dakan-Davis chapel." Fannie C. - Centennial Fannie told her granddaughter, Marcia Pierson Mogck, and gdau in law, Elizabeth Porter Pierson that marauding Indians stole children. In Iowa, her mother put her under a wash tub to hide her. Also Aunt Lottie. age 59 when she died. She had throat cancer. Sherman said she was so good, why did she have to die? They had a farm west of Alcester, East of Beresford, S.D. They found her husband Johnny Severson dead on his living room floor with his mouth full of peanuts. "They found him with peanuts in his mouth. He choked to death. Served him right." Ethel March said. Velma lived with her mother in law all her marriage.
