I'd love copies of papers or anything that you have on the Waters, Martins, Conkeys, etc. They may be the same as things I have from my Grandmother's DAR things, but they might also be more extensive since they were through George Legrand Waters. Is it something that you can send via email? My email address is kab827@att.net . If it is something that needs to be send by US mail, I'd be happy to pay for copying and postage.
I noticed that some of the people in your tree in the Waters line seem to be from Kansas. I find that really interesting, because I thought that Henry was the only one to venture west from NY to Kansas. However, it looks as though there were more Henry lived for a while in Independence, Kansas and worked in a government office doing something with the sale of Indian land. He was married in Humboldt, Kansas. He also lived and died in the Old Soldier's Home in Leavenworth, Kansas. He must have been in Texas at some point, because both daughters married and lived in Texas. My grandmother was born in Galveston in 1899, right before the big hurricane and flood.
I have seen excepts on the internet of an old 1910 book titled, Northern NY - Genealogical and family history of northern NY. It has a whole part about the Waters family going back to 1636 or so. There are a few typos or other confusing things that don't make sense, but overall its really interesting. I think they have Adam Martin and Walter Martin confused in one place. They do mention George Legrand Waters and his children, but not alot more about him. Here is the web address for that:
