                   Note:The wife of Christopher and the two children listed were recorded in the probate after the husband Christopher, in 1734, as being of his first marriage.  It is quite possible that other children may have been born      to this couple of whom there are no records.  The parrish registry for for Holme does not startuntil 1738 making it impossible to further indentify this family.  In the land records it was recorded that on 22 Jun 1699 Christopher Madsen of Skaade took over the lease on his father's, Mads Christophersen, farm in Skaade (reg. no. 4-6-3-1).  On 12 Apr 1728 child #1 Mads Christophersen, took over the lease on his father's farm (reg. no. 4-6-3-1).  This last transaction indicates that the father, Chrisopher Madsen, by this time was too old to take care of the farm any longer and therefore the son took over.  He, Christopher Madsen, then became a cottager in the village of Skaade (reg no 0-6-3-2) And stayed there until his death in1734.
