                      GA-017 p428:  Granted land deed from Reubin Glaze, Oglethorpe Co., GA, 8/3/1795.  For 75 pounds, 200 acres; party of a survey of 400 acres whereon Reubin Glaze now lives; surveyed & granted to George Walton 12 July 1787; on the waters of Little River.

In Wilkes Co., GA, David was Administrator to the estate of Jesse Walker.  He was appointed Dec. 27, 1804, after it was reported that one Baldwin Robertson, who had married Walker's widow, was "wasting" the estate.  Glaze was appointed after Robertson failed to appear in court.

On Nov. 2, 1818, paid the following:  Peter Strozier, Thomas Formby, Joseph and Samuel Walker, all distributees on the will.  Estate was administered from the data of inventory, Jun. 23, 1798 through 1818, with a wide series of payoffs and transactions.

Among them were payment to Lewis Glaze for his guardianship of Polly, Samuel, and Lettice Walker.

Henry does not own any real estate but does own personal property valued at $460. The household, including Henry totals 11 persons, all were born in Georgia except the two youngest children indicating the family moved from Georgia to Texas between the birth of Mary in Georgia in 1852, and the birth of Jane in Texas in 1855. Wife M.A. [Mary Ann] is age 40. Son George Warren is age 23, and owns real estate valued at $100. Son P.H. [Peyton Haws] is age 21, Son W.L. [William Lafayette] is age 18, Son J.R. [John Randolph] is age 17, Son H.N. [Henry Norman] is 14, Son David [David Ellington] is age 12, Daughter M.E. [Mary Elmylia] is age 7, Daughter Jane is age 4, and Son Thos M.
