RESEARCH   NOTE: 1. Peter is assumed to be a son of Geoffrey because of the
    connection they both had with "Holley House".  It is claimed by some compilers
    Peter was a son of William and Juliana and a brother of the above Geoffrey, but
    because of his approximate date of birth it is assumed he would more likely be
    a grandson of William and Juliana.

RESEARCH   NOTE: 1. The above Peter and wife Laurencia obtained record title to
    lands in Sanderstead Parish in 1346, but continued to live in Woods Place, at
    least as late as 1359, when he was licensed to maintain a chepel of his own as
    the Woods Place.  The Atwoods gained a lease on the perpetuity of the Church
    part of Sanderstead Manor about this time, since it is known they had it, but
    no record of the transaction is found.  Peter, husband on this family group
    record, built the Church at Sanderstead Court about 1380.
