MAYFLOWER NOTE: -Very little is known about Mrs. Alice Mullins. She is named in the will of William Mullins, which he had written for him on the day of his death, 21 February 1620/1. A number of sources claim her name was Alice Atwood, or Alice Poretiers, but these claims have no basis. (MayflowerHistory.com) RESEARCH NOTE: While there is no conclusive evidence to prove that this Alice is Alice Atwood, the evidence presented by some researchers supports this hypothesis. The Atwood ancestry extends 9 more generations on the Atwood paternal line. These generations have been included at this time. It does not appear that the documents exist to conclusively prove or disprove this ancestry at this time.
