    1. The 1910 US Census shows Fredrick Jurgenson, age 23, born Kentucky, at 19 West Erie Street, same address as given on his daughter's birth certificate. He had been married one year and his wife's name was given as Julia, not Isabel. Julia's birthplace of Canada matches the birth place for Ruth's mother as given on her birth certificate.
    2. Draft Registration gives date of birth and states that his nearest relative is Carrie Floyd - mother.
    3. The 1920 US Census shows Fred W. Jurgenson listed as divorced. He has a nine year old daughter living with him named "Heneretta" whose mother's place of birth is given as Canada. This is perhaps Ruth.
    4. The 1930 US Census shows Fred Jurgenson as a roomer. He is 44 years old, born in Kentucky, and listed as divorced.
    5. The 1937 Lurie Index is a private collection filmed by the Genealogical Society of Utah. It is a Card Index of names of "people in Chicago in 1937 as well as all of the voter's registration for Chicago". Addresses are given. Fred W. Jurgenson is listed at 1805 South Wabash Avenue.
    6. The On-line Illinois Death Index does not list a death date for Frederick.
    7. The Social Security Death Index does not have a Fred or Frederick Jurgensen with a birth date of 2 May 1886.

    1. A posting to Genforum.genealogy.com claims that Henry T. Jurgensen and Carrie McCreary had a son, Charles T. Jurgensen, born 1888. Because this is an estate matter, no contact was made with the individual who posted this information.
