    Wiley GIPSON served in the Confederate Forces during the Civil War & was captured & retrained as a Union Soldier. He was injured and drew a Union pension until his death. Wiley's father disappeared when he was about seven & never heard from again. Wiley told the family he was one quarter Choctaw.
