Our Bailey INGLISH was the son of Joseph INGLISH and Sarah [ANDERSON] who with their 8 children and lots of kinfolk settled in the southwestern part of "Arkansas" in 1818.Mrs Sarah Inglish died in Sevier Co Ar 1834-5 and late in 1835 her husband Joseph and son Bailey left Arkansas for good. Our Bailey Inglish is the man who established Fort Inglish in what is now Bonham, Fannin Co, Texas.About "our" Bailey INGLISH:born 04 Mar 1873 SC died 05 Aug 1857 Fannin Co TX

                   NOTES:
    Levi and Matilda Burleson English and their family moved into the home of Ross Byers in Caldwell County in about the year of 1849. By 1851 her relationship with Ross had apparantly become more than platonic, and she and Levi separated. They obtained a divorce in May 1849, a couple days after which she married Ross Byers. About two weeks later, her ex-husband shot and killed Ross while Levi was visiting the newlywed couple. Matilda and Levi remarried in 1855.
