The father is acknowledged to be Johann Heinrich Römer, unmarried son of the late Balsar Römer of Kesselbach, who was a soldier with the Prince Emil Taufzeuhe Regiment of the Grand Duke of Hessen. Godparent: the child's grandfather, Johann Jacob Faulstich of Keselbach.
