                   Thomas arrived in Boston, MA on the ship Lyon in Dec 1630, in the company of the Roger Williams Family.  Thomas was certainly a near relative of Roger's.  Thomas also went with Roger Williams when he was banished from Massachusetts for his religious practices.  They spent the winter with the Indians in what was to become Rhode Island.  Thomas signed the compact for government in Providence, RI 20 Aug 1637, when he came of age.
