The principal cause of death was "Carcinoma Stomach with obstruction cardiac orifice" with contributory causes of "Carcinoma liver metastatic oil -cardiac acute" This record also gave the following information: (1) Henry served in the Spanish American war; (2) He lived at 28 John Street, Newport, Rhode Island; (3) He lived for 62 years, 5 months and 29 days; (4) His trade was listed as a General Helper; (5) Working at the Naval Torpedo Station, Newport RI; (6) His father's name was Godfrey Kunz, and his Mother's name was Louise Gower, both born in Germany; and (7) He was buried at the Newport RI, Braman Cemetery. It appears that his age is incorrect, likely because he wanted to enlist but was only 16. Enlisted several times for a duration of three years at a time, beginning in 1893, when he was 16/17 years old, but states he was 19. Again in 1896 for thee years. Again in 1918 for WWI when he was 42. Here we find a birth date of 28 Dec 1876

There is some slight differences in the 1900 US Fed Rhode Island census , which states that both husband (Henry) and Mary were born in 1876. It only gives the month of August for Mary with no specific day stated. While Henry has a more specific DOB from a military registration card. Memory of living relative The Newport Rhode Island 1910 US Fed census shows that at age 34, they had been married 12 years and had 5 children, however only 3 were living. We have been told by my Aunt Polly, that Henry and Alice died as babies. However, Rosa shows up in the 1910 as being 1 year old, however we don't have another listing of her in the 1930 census, BUT this could be because she moved out as an adult? WHAT HAPPENED TOTHE CHILDREN, ESPECIALY WHICH TWO DIED AND WHAT OF ROSA? WE HAVE NOT PINNED DOWN MARY'S BIRTH DATE nor have we found the DOB of the children who died near their birth.
From what we understand from living relitives and searches of census records, Rosa did not survive childhood.
