                   RESEARCH NOTE:
      Temple work done for children John, Mary, Joseph, and Betty in 2007/2008, using birthdates circa 20-25 years earlier than their probably actual dates of birth.   Those dates were previously based on the fact that Elizagbeth Scott was listed as the wife of Richard Smart, Sr.  She actually was the wife of his son, Richard Smart, Jr.  Elizabeth died at about age 25, several years following the birth of her only child, also named Elizabeth.
