NOTES:
    Ethel lived in Los Angles, California with her last husband, Samuel Tony PETTUS, born 4 April 1918, in Scooba, Kemper, Mississippi, the son of Mattie GILLISPPI and Tony PETTUS. Sam died 3 July 1988, in Los Angeles, Calif. He's buried in the Ingelwood Park Cemetery, Inglewood, California. After Ethel's death, Sam married again to Bobbie of Los Angeles, Calif. Ethel had several prior marriages: md. Cecil MEALEY in Buckhannon, W. Va.; md. Thornton
    LABOR   in Oklahoma. No issue because she was sterile. Ethel is a half sister to the other children in the family, having the same mother but a different father, unknown to me, as per Eurie Joy Phipps FOGLE. Ethel is buried in the Inglewood Memorial Park Cemetery, Inglewood, California.
