The homes of Robert J Caren and Charlene Poston were less than a half mile apart as the children were growing up.  John M Caren lived at 1465 E. Broad St., and Elias M Poston lived at 236 Woodland Ave, both in Columbus, OH.

Survived by widow, Charlene Poston Caren; son, Chris of Palo Alto, California; daughters, Ann, at home, Mrs. Austin Peck of Tubac; grandchildren, Christopher and Michael Caren; brother, John M. Caren, of Columbus; sister, Mrs. Thomas W. Kennedy, Phoenix, Arizona. Funeral service Thursday at Tuscon, Arizona.
