Elno Tag KyneSTAPLETON  Elno Tag Kyne of Stapleton died Dec. 24, 2003, at the Callaway Good Samaritan Center in Callaway. He was 85.He was born Nov. 28, 1918, in Lincoln County to Everett Eldon and Cora Faye Heldenbrand Kyne. He grew up and attended schools in Lincoln and McPherson counties. He worked for other ranches before he went to work for the Milldale Ranch Company, where he worked for 55 years.Mr. Kyne enjoyed rodeoing and was a good calf roper. He was a member of the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association for a number of years and a member of the National Rifle Association.He did a lot of leather work and made about 40 saddles. He also repaired saddles and made belts. He enjoyed ranch work and was a cowboy all of his life. He also enjoyed bowling.Survivors include two sisters, Nora Keesler of Nampa, Idaho, and Gladys Keesler of Beaver City; two brothers, Marion (Sharon) Kyne of El Cajon, Calif., and John Jack Kyne of North Platte; a sister-in-law, Zandra Kyne of North Platte; and several nieces and nephews.He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Theda Lucille Kyne and an infant sister; and five brothers, Wallace Ray, Elden, Cort, Leonard and Harlan Kyne.Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at the Presbyterian Church in Stapleton. Burial will be in the Loup Valley Cemetery west of Stapleton. Visitation will be from 8:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. today and Saturday at Odean Colonial Chapel at C & Sycamore in North Platte and prior to services Monday at the church.
