NOTE: The 1900 U.S. Census lists Louisa as being the mother of 10 children of which only 5 are living. The names of the children, when and where they were born is unknown. It is possible that their tombstones in Illinois and Missouri are still intact. Her obituary in 1906 notes that she was the mother of 9 children, 4 living.
