NOTES:
    Mr. Robert Butterworth and his brother John, started the Park City Ice Company in Salt Lake in the late '80s. They obtained the ice just below Park City, near the old Kimball ranch. Later Mr. Butterworth engaged in the ice cream business. Mr. Butterworth's parents came to Utah by ox team in 1854 and settled on ground near the "Old Fort" (later Pioneer park). With his mother he opened a grocery store outside the main business district in Salt Lake in 1878 and operated it until 1917. Mrs. Butterworth's mother, Ellen Baldwin, came to Utah with the original band of pioneers in 1847. Her father was George W. Boyd, member of the Mormon battalion. Who traveled to California from Nauvoo, then went to Salt Lake from California.
