Richard Stubbs notes that he was baptized in Nauvoo Hancock Illinois in May 1843 by Thomas M Cann Confirmed in May 1843 by Thomas McCann and Ordained a High Priest 13 Oct 1877 by David John. Richard records that he received his endowment 17 June 1856 in Salt Lake. His 1st patriarchal blessing Oct 1850 in Piggon Pottawatamie County Iowa by William Draper and a second in Feb 1857 in Provo Utah County in the state of Deseret from Isaac Morley. He notes that he received his second anointing 7 December 1899 in Salt Lake from Apostle Lund. Source: Handwritten Family Record located in the L Tom Perry special collection at BYU library. 

According to Mormon Pioneer Overland Travel site Richard Stubbs traveled to Utah in 1852 with the Uriah Curtis company.
