RESEARCH NOTE: From Burke's Landed Gentry: -Robert Hibbert, Esq., of Booth and Stockfield Hall, (7th in descent from Nicholas Hibbert, of Marple, Cheshire, who died July 1596), b. 1684; m. at the Collegaite Church of Manchester, 8 March 1708, Margaret Tetlow, and d. 15 April 1762, having had issue. -From "Memorials of a Dissenting Chapel," he is listed as a "linen draper."
RESEARCH NOTE: A Christening record for a Margaret Tetlow, daughter of Thomas Tetlow of Oldham, was located in the extracted parish registers. Further research is needed, but based on prior sources which lists Margaret as the daughter of Thomas Tetlow of Oldham (Memorial of a dissenting chapel, Memorial of Stand Chapel), and the closeness of dates, this line will be accepted until further research can confirm it.
