John SCHOLEY

                   RESEARCH NOTES:
    The John Scholey with the christening date of 6 Mar 1604 is found in the christening records of Sandal Magna, Yorkshire, England, in the extracted parish registers (batch P010341, FHL#1,836,439), but his father's name is Richard.  Further research is necessary to determine if the ancestry or the date is wrong, or if the father had multiple given names.  Until the correct ancestry can be determined, the sealing to parent ordinance has been held back.  It also appears that John's children were listed in the Ackworth, Yorkshire England Christening records, however, Alice and Sarah are not listed, and a parent's name is not always listed on these records, which may mean there are additional children that need to be gathered.
