                   RESEARCH NOTE:
    It is supposed that Mary Maria Youngs is the daughter of John Youngs, Rev., who settled Southold, NY, but there is another Mary Youngs who has already been identified as a daughter.  There does not seem to be enough evidence to conclusively prove this case for or against a connection, and so she has been added as a daughter of Joan Harris, though she may be the daughter of any one of the three wives of John Youngs, though she was not on the ship passenger list, so she was probably born in the New World, which rules out Joan Harrington, and she was not named in the will of Mary Warren, so the likely conclusion is that she is the daughter of Joan Harris.  
    It is also possible that this Mary Youngs married a Mr. Youngs, who then died, and she was a widow carrying the Youngs surname.
