NAME: Anise aka Annie NOTES: Anise was kidnapped by Indians when she was a child. Later the soldiers got her back, but when she did get back she was in the habit of wearing a Indian blanket. She always wore a Indian blanket. This is probably why she never showed up on the census. She was likely with the Indians for several years.
NOTES: Mary had a child in 1862, they both died in 1865. Felix Deer died of shock when he received a letter informing him of their deaths while serving in the Civil War.
