BIRTH:
    Date of 8 Jan 1783 shown on TIB, based on information supplied to the Logan LDS Temple apparently is incorrect with 1782 as the correct year, since christening was in 1782. Place of birth shown on TIB is Fiddington, which is in the Ashchurch Parish, Gloucestershire, England. Archive Record sheet shows Treadington, Gloucs., Eng. as place of birth.

CHRISTENING:
    Date and place found in parish record search by Genealogical Society, according to 18 Apr 1958 letter from Henry E. Christiansen, Research Department, to Faye R. Brown. This information has been verified by Gordon Robins.

MARRIAGE:
    Date of 1 Dec 1808 shown on TIB apparently is incorrect, with Ashchurch Parish records showing that Richard Robins signed the marriage register on 12 Dec 1808 for marriage to Anne Fulwell. Banns for this marriage were published on 13, 20 and 27 Nov 1808, according to parish records.

BAPTISM:
    Apperly LDS Branch records indicate that Richard Robins was baptized in 1841 and cut off 6 Dec 1842, according to Gordon Robins. Apparently he was rebaptized as a member of the church before leaving for America.

EMIGRATION TO USA:
    Richard Robins, age 67, and wife Ann, age 65, sailed from Liverpool, Eng. to America with son Thomas and family in 1848 on ship Sailor Prince, under the direction of L. D. Butler. The ship landed at New Orleans on 20 Nov 1848.

DEATH:
    He died in St. Louis, MO two months after landing in the USA, en route from New Orleans to meet other members of the Church at Winter Quarters.
