Swett, Pittsfield, NH; State of NH 18 Aug 1838, Co. of Rockingham appeared Sarah Fogg, res. Northwood, Rockingham, NH, and is wid. of Jonathan Fogg, soldier under Capt. Elkins of Hampton, Rockingham, NH; Fogg first enl. Spring 1775, and serv. 8 mos. and was at Bunkerhill at time of battle, res. North Hampton, Rockingham, NH, at time of first enl.; ca. Aug/Sep 1777 enl. second time, serv. ca. 3 mos., was then res. of Chichester, Rockingham, NH; he enl. under Capt. Sanborn of Deerfield in sd. co., Col. Evans Regt.; she m. Jonathan Fogg 26 Feb 1770; her husb. d. 20 Feb 1805 and she has since remained a wid.; cites m. at Deerfield by Rev. Timothy Upham, 26 Feb 1779, Jonathan Fogg = Sarah Page; Daniel Lamprey of Hampton, Rockingham, NH, was soldier 1775 under Capt. Elkins of Hampton, and Jonathan Fogg of Northampton in sd. co. and state was soldier in same co. and enl. under Capt. Henry Elkins (dep. 5 Jan 1839); Jonathan Fogg dep. 24 Aug 1838: "I Jonathan Fogg of Pittsfield in the County of Merrimack & State of New Hampshire . . . depose and say that in the year seventeenhundred and seventyfive at Challeston [sic] Massachusetts I was well acquainted with Simeon & Jonathan Fogg two Brothers from North Hampton in the County of Rockingham and state aforesaid and Can Certify that they were soldiers in the army at that time"; Benjamin Page dep. 25 Aug 1838, rev. pensioner, late of Chichester, ae 80, now of Loudon, Merrimack, NH, was acquainted w.
