NAME: Dinah VAN LEUVEN/VAN LIEW
NAME: Richard (Derick) FULKERSON NOTES: Benjamin Sharp, a nephew by marriage to Richard (Derick) FULKERSON, was a young man living in the county when Richard was killed by Indians. He reports there were two children married and living away from home, Abraham and Sarah, who was married to John Stuart. Evidently, when the Indians attacked, the mother, Eleanor, and two youngest children, Fredrick and Mary, hid and were not hurt, but there were older children killed with their father. It is not known how many children there were. A younger brother of Richard (Derick) gave land to the widow and younger children. Abraham is old enough to receive the land and in 1781 he is the executor of his mother's will.
