Particial Inscription for a bible given as gift by her children in 1886.
    August 19 1886 August 19 1818 68

To Mother We have met in the old home to remind you that another mile stone
has been passed in the journey of your life. As the days come and go each
bringing to you a burden of toil and anxiety do you ever stop to think that
you as well as we are growing old? To us the thought of home is sacred. But
more sacred still is the thought of mother. What would our home be without
you? These many years you have worked diligently to obtain a home and make it
pleasant for us children. We unite in the wish that you may enjoy many years
of happiness. Accept as our birthday present this Bible. The word of God has
ever been your support and we know that it will become more and more precious
as you come nearer your journey's end. And besides all that this book reveals
to you Heaven. You have the added blessing of being able to look back on a
busy well spent life. A life devoted to the well being of others. And now
will you with this book accept our hearty congratulations.
