Elmer WATERBURY

    Grace A. Waterbury and Edwin M. Waterbury, Jonathan Waterbury Genealogy (Oswego, New York: Palladium-Times, Inc., 1930)

    A farmer, now resident near Carter, South Dakota. Elmer grew to manhood on 
    his father's farm, and completed his education in the public schools near 
    his home. He continued to reside in Shelby County, Iowa, until he was 26 
    years old; then, following his marriage, he removed to Audubon County, 
    Iowa, where he resided from 1899 untill 1919. In the later year he removed 
    to South Dakota, where he settled upon the farm in Tripp County, where he 
    now resides as a prosperous farmer (1930).
