                   RESEARCH NOTE:
    It is not known where the names of Robert and Bridget were given for Mary's parents, although there is a Robert Tucker and Bridget Gould from Tedburn, Devonshire who had a daughter Mary about the right age to be the wife of Thomas Dibble, though no members of this family are known to have gone to America.  It appers the original colonial biographies which list her birthdate only list "Of England" and have no parent information.  Further research is necessary, as there seems to be no conclusive evidence that these are her parents.
