                   NOTES
    1.  Full Name:  Charles (Karl) James Yearout (Jahrous), Senior.  Karl Jahraus came to America from Germany in 1764.  Karl went through a change of name in English speaking America to Charles Yearout at the time of his naturalization.

    2.  In Augusta County, Virginia, the marriage bonds he signed for his children are still there.  He signed each one twice, once with his German name and once with his American name.  After his wife died, he moved to Blount County, Tennessee to be near some of his children.  He died in Blount County.
