Info received from Edith DeGroat who is now deceased. Info received l Nov 1967. In 1820 Squire Humble was part of the 86th Regt. KY Militia in Capt. Carnagy's Company - October muster. (Pd a $l.00 fine). 24 Sep 1847 Squire ordered a gravestone for daughter Sarah. Larkin Garnett Humble and James Cain Humble administered the estate of Squire Humble. Marriage #2 to Eliza Taylor ended in divorce 12 Nov 1854.
Nickname was "Polly".
James Cain Humble rode horseback about 1868 to visit the family living in Tuscola, Douglas, Illinois at that time.

Family lived near Falmouth, KY in Pendleton County just north of Harrison County, which became the home county later. Larkin and Sophronia's wedding trip was a boat ride on the Ohio River. Sophronia and the children moved to Decatur in 1882. Larkin divorced Mrs. Eliza Humble 12 Jan 1854.
Hiram Newton Humble was a soldier in the War between the States. He was in Camp Morton, Indiana in 1865.
