    Noah Humble applied for Ensign in Richard Custer's Company 29 Apr 1783.
    Noah Humble qualified as an Ensign 27 May 1783.
    August Court 1921-Cynthiana, KY - Squire Humble and William Bean
    James Bean & Tavner Snell, Sureties.  Certificate granted for obtaining
    letters of administration of the estate of Noah Humble, deceased, in due
    form.
    Bill of Sale of property of Noah Humble, decided at the town of Cynthiana on
    the 8th of July 1833 at public auction.

    In 1820 Squire Humble was part of the 86th Regt. KY Militia in Capt. Carnagy's
    Company - October muster. (Pd a $l.00 fine).
    24 Sep 1847 Squire ordered a gravestone for daughter Sarah.
    Larkin Garnett Humble and James Cain Humble administered the estate of Squire
    Humble. Marriage #2 to Eliza Taylor ended in divorce 12 Nov 1854.

                       James remained a bachelor and was a good help to his brothers and sisters.
    He had a good deal of wealth for his day.  Served six months with 16th Regt KY
    Militia, (discharged 10 Mar 1815).  Paid $1.17 Revenue Tax and County Levy
    for year 1817.  Paid $40.00 for "heir" of negro woman named Harriett for one
    year.  Subscribed to the Cynthiana Advertiser for ten numbers.  Belonged to the
    Jockey Club and owned many horses.  Made his will 21 Aug 1840 and died ten days
    later.  It was "oral" requesting Squire Humble and Hannah Bean to administer
    the estate (his brother and sister).  Deed dated 11 Oct 1834--Archelaus Vanhook
    and wife Jemima to James Humble (see Humble History page 9).

    Arcadia, Morgan City, Illinois that Sally was sick.  Sally was nickname for
    Sarah.
