                       1769 Uriah Humble bought a part of an estate in Virginia.
    1770 Uriah and wife Charity sold to son Conrad 200 acres in Brock's Gap on
    Dry Run--sold for 30 lbs.  Had been patented to James Begg's 22 Jan 1746 and
    conveyed to Uriah Humble.  Teste.Jacob Miller and John Thomas, Conrad Custer-
    Delivered Ino.Ruddle 10 May 1784.
    This Uriah Humble (husband) is the brother of Michale (Michael) and Martin
    Humble, the first Humble's to emigrate to America.
    12 Mar 1750 Uriah Humble bought 200 acres joining Thomas West on Mud Lick
    Branch.
    1755 Uriah Humble was present when James Begg's land was processioned. (A copy
    of the will of James was in old papers. (It was probated 23 Aug 1770.
    1757 Court summons to appear: David Love VS Jacob Miller and Uriah Humble--
    3rd Wed in Nov 1757. "Deputy Sheriff had difficulty executing this writ.
    Indians were in the neighborhood of Uriah Humble's home, which by land reports
    of Augusta County was near Brock's Gap in the present Rockingham County,
    Virginia."

                       1758 Conrad listed in Militia of Augusta County, Virginia.  Land entries in
    Jefferson County, KY.
    21 Jun 1780 bought 500 acres on Clear River.
    9 Aug 1784 bought l,285 acres on Ohio River.  Conrad was probably County Clerk,
    as he made this statement, "Fee books are the Books of Charges for services
    rendered, required by law to be kept by the Clerks. They should contain an
    entry of every charge, the name of person who is to pay and a statement of the
    services rendered.  The marks of certification were generally a nickname or
    designation of residence or occupation."  Conrad Humble, Brock's Gap
    1784-first census shows 7 whites, l dwelling, 2 buildings.
    1791-Will probated in Bourbon County 5 Jan 1791 shows following heirs and
    inheritances: son Uriah and wife given 200 acres at Lincking River.
    Son Noah the 100 acres he lives on. Dau Jane and son-in-law Richard Custer was
    given 250 acres in Jefferson County. Dau Rachel given 250 acres in Jefferson
    County. Dau Charity (orphan of Martin) included in 1784 Census of 7 whites as
    a daughter.  Conrad had his brother Michael deed to James Johnston (bro-in-law)
    and husband of his sister, 825 acres below the mouth of the Kentucky River
