    (sibs) in 1650.  Three daughters including Neeltje (Rin 391) md 3 Couwenhoven
    brothers.

    In the same boat with Roelof, Jan and Anetje (28 Jun 1650) was
    Adrian van der Donck, Jacob van Couwenhoven and Jan Evertson Bouk.  In 1660
    Roelof md a neive of Jacob van Couwenhoven.  Roelof bd at Flatlands
    (Amersfoort) LI, in 1704.  Only estate bigger in Flatlands was Pieter Claesen
    Wyckoff  (pp 21-28)

    "Monmouth Families" vol. 1 by Ann Pette Miles, 1980 p. 1 states "Col. Martin
    Schenck b. 8/7/1584, son of General Peter Schenck and Joana Van Scharpenseel,
    married Margaret DeBockhurst came to New Amsterdam with his three children
    Roelof, Jan and Anetje on board the ship "de Valekener" arriving June 28, 1650.
