John TIPPETTS

                   NOTES:  On PAF John Tippets II (1722) and John Tippets III (1752) are listed as
    marrying Phebe Elizabeth Austin (AFN:  B6DT-P2) who is born 20 Apr 1730.  This
    would make her 5 years younger than her father.  A search of both the town
    records (GS 0887744) and Parish records (GS 0887750) shows the following:
    1--John Tippets Jun & Phebe Austin md 30 Jul 1751/3 (p 272, 0887744) and on
    page 277 their 5 children are listed--John, Elezebeth, Rachel, William, and
    Joseph.
    2--On page 295, Nathan Austin & Hannah Farnum are listed with their 4 children:
    Nathan, Hannah, Abijah, and Phebe (born 2 Mar 1754).  According to PAF Nathan
    and Hannah are the listed parents of Phebe who is listed as being born 20 Apr
    1730.  I conclude in light of the discrepancy in dates that this Phebe is the
    wife of John Tippets III and not John Tippets II.
    3--On page 341 is listed a Phebe Austing born 20 Apr 1730 daughter of Zebediah
    Austing & Sarah Guterson, along with 7 siblings, not at all matching the family
    of Nathan & Hannah Farnum.  I believe this to be the Phebe Austin listed as the
    wife of John Tippetts II.
    4--On page 191 and 197 of GS 0887750 is listed the marriage of John Tippets
