Martin Schenck b. 8/7/1584, son of General Peter Schenck and Joana Van Scharpenseel, married Margaret DeBockhurst came to New Amsterdam with his three children Roelof, Jan and Anetje on board the ship "de Valekener" arriving June 28, 1650.
