                   RESEARCH NOTE:
    The wife of John WARD was also listed as Sarah LYMAN, daughter of Richard LYMAN and Sarah OSBORNE.  Genealogies of New Jersey Families, available in Google Books, disproves this, and also lists the living sons from the will, including a Samuel.  Samuel was born 1656, but this date conflicts with other children listed here.  It is likely that some of these children are not accurately John and Sarah's.  Further research in original records should clarify this situation.
    Also, John ward is listed as the son of George Ward of Branford, not Stephen.  Research on this ancestry is also needed.
