Note Gilbert, William and John are possible children in this family.  Sources and books searched often put these children here, but it is not proven.

John Cragy was  a Lawman of Orkney from at least 1495 -1509.  This is shown by his name and seal being on a number of decrees and dispositions during those years.  He owned land in Tenston, Rousay, Brugh (Brough), and in Outer Westness.

                   Henry Cragy was a Roithman, or Councilman -- one of the "best landed men" obliged to attend head courts.

In June 1514 Henry, along with his brothers, Thomas and Nicol, were noted as being brothers german (full brothers) to the late John of Craigy.

                   On 16 March 1503 Sir Thomas Cragy was tacksman with John Cragy, of land in Quham, Rousay, Orkney.
In June 1514 Thomas, along with his brothers, Henry and Nicol, noted as being brothers-german (full brothers) to the late John of Craigy.  He also was a "Roithman" (Councilman and landed gentry) at the time.
