                   RESEARCH NOTE:
Family records give two different marriage dates for John Hulet and Sarah Searles.  The date of 4 Dec 1746 is given in the book "Before and After Mt. Pisgah," although the marriage of 9 May 1748 is given in the Killingly, CT vital records.  The first child born to this couple was born 14 Dec 1747, one year prior to the vital records listing.  Due to the birth date of the first child, we have listed the earlier marriage date, though original research may be needed to determine which marriage date is correct.
