BIRTH: Walter S. Hatfield's biography, a son of Abel Hatfield, grandson of Nathan L. Hatfield and great-grandson of Jonas Hatfield asked were Jonas' parents Andrew Supples Hatfiled and Christine Powell? He says Jonas Hatfield came from Wales about 1772 when about nine years old and settled in Pa. Later moved to Kentucky where he married Rachel Janney (Llewellen), and where several of his children were born. They moved to Dayton, Montgomery Co., OHio where Nathan L. Hatfield was born. IN 1910 (which I'm sure he meant 1810) they moved to Green's Fork of the White River (after Washington), Wayne Co, Indiana. He was a farmer all of his life and died there in 1813.
