Charles FEAKE
BIOGRAPHY: Charles Feake (according to the Book:"David Roe of Flushing, New York and Some of his Descendants" (2nd Edition) Published 1926 Microfiche G5456...was a brother of the noted American painter, Robert Feake (Feke). Hannah Feake, sister of Mary's great-grandfather, had married John Browne of Flushing, a pioneer in the cause of religious freedom. He was a shopjoiner or cabinet maker. He was one of the nearly 1300 men who signed the Long Island loyalist petition on Oct 21 1776. BIRTH: Name also spelled Feke and Feeks sometimes
